France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy officially took his new girlfriend, topmodel-turned-singer Carla Bruni, on a trip to Egypt on the Christmas day December 25, 2007. The hand-in-hand couple shown in the picture above was received by Sameer Farag, head of Luxor’s Supreme Local Council of antiquities at Luxor Airport.
